If you do not have a webcam, there are many options available.

Purchase a cheap webcam online: Future Shop, Best Buy, Wal-mart. Borrow one from your friend. Most public libraries have computers with built in webcams. Borrow a laptop with a webcam from your university / college’s library. Most Internet cafés have webcams and an audio input. Check with the university/college library regarding other available resources.

If an issue occurs, we can reset your submission. Please note: If you do not review your submission after your record and you contact us days later indicating that it did not record properly, then we can not reset, unless otherwise advised by your instructor. Please follow the instructions and always review your submission after your record. You will see your video being published or a gear icon indicating that your video is being uploaded.

To create structure, we have implemented deadlines for each task:

• Presentations: Wednesday evening at 11:59pm

• Evaluation: Friday evening at 11:59pm

After the presentation deadline, all possible evaluations will become active. Click on a group members name and provide an evaluation. Remember, if a member in your group does not present, your grades will not be affected. You will receive full grades for evaluating each member of your group.

Microphone: Is your microphone turned up? Did you allow your microphone? Have you tired another browser? Did you try restarting your computer? Have you tired choosing the gear icon in the screen and choosing your mic?

Webcam: Are you using Google Chrome? If so, did you allow your camera underneath the URL and in the webcam screen? Have you tired another browser? Have you updated your browser? Do you have the latest version of adobe flash?

All else fails, please contact a customer care representative and we will help you.

Yes, you have to provide both a written evaluation and a score before submitting your evaluation.

More than 35% of our users have been international students. There has never been an issue with enrolling, recording a video submission or evaluations. Students support students and because all evaluations are time stamped and recorded in our database, it is very difficult for a student to get away with such actions. To date, we have not witness any disrespectful comments. If for the unlikely reason there is a comment that is disrespectful, then you'll have the name, date and time when this comment occurred. You can also delete comments form the instructors side.

If a student enrolls late, then that student will receive a zero for that week, but will be able to participate the following week.

Each week, students have to submit one oral assessment and a self/peer evaluations. The oral assessment is due every Wednesday at 10:00pm and Evaluations are due every Friday at 10:00pm. At this time, the deadlines are locked in at Wednesday and Friday to streamline course prep. for the instructor and to create structure for students. Instructors who have used Presenters Podium have discovered that this set-up works well for their schedule and students.

That's no problem. Our automatic grading chart will allow you to void out a week at anytime. Once you void out that week, the overall grades will adjust.

Our system automatically forms and randomly rotates groups each week. Students will be placed into groups of four. If there is an odd number, they will be placed in groups of three, or five.

You do not need to upload a student list. Once you pass out the syllabus document (that our system creates for you), students will create an account, enroll into your course, and will appear in your students tab.

Our system tracks and automatically records marks for each week.

How does this work?

Students will evaluate their own oral submission and three or four group members. Their mark for the oral submission depends on the grade they give themselves and the grade their peers provide them. The grade for evaluation depends on whether or not they evaluate all members of their group. I.e If there are four group members and a student only evaluates half of his/her peers, then that student will only receive 50% of the value for evaluations for that week.

You can be creative: Some instructors have chosen to randomly choose one or two submissions where they evaluate. Some have chosen to base 50% of the grade on their own evaluations and 50% on the mark received from peers? Or you can let the system record and track all grades for you. It is up to you!
